Location
Danena is a stunning yoga retreat center located on Sicily’s famous southeastern coast. The centerpiece is La Masseria, a beautifully restored 19th Century farmhouse, nestled in the lush, natural landscape of Sicily, surrounded by 80 acres of fertile farmland with the breathtaking Mediterranean Sea as its backdrop. Close by, you'll find the ancient Greek city of Siracusa and Ortigia Island, the charming hilltop town of Noto, the Baroque masterpiece that is Ragusa, and the serene Vendicari nature reserves. Sicily’s rich history is a blend of Roman, Byzantine, Islamic, Norman, Greek, and Spanish influence. From its stunning beaches and passionate people to its incredible cuisine and the awe-inspiring, active Mount Etna, there’s so much that we will discover on this incredible island.
The indoor yoga space is a beautifully restored pitch roofed barn, and the outdoor wooden shala overlooks the orange garden. There is a fresh water infinity pool, many patios and living spaces to enjoy, massage rooms, and a breathtaking sunset terrace. In Italy it is all about the food, and our chef will be preparing. local, organic, delicious meals for us daily.

Our property is about one hour south of Cantania Fontanarossa airport (CTA) and easy to get to.
British Airways, ITA, Easyjet, Iberia, Wizz Air and Ryanair have daily flights to Catania Fontanarossa.
From the airport we can assist in arranging private or group transfers for a fee. Or, you can hire a car and keep it for the week!. Additionally, care hire is available by the day from our property, should you want to venture off anywhere on your own.
